Allround Maintenance Technician

• You will learn the trade of mechanic in a 1.5 to 2 year trajectory under the supervision of experienced colleagues. This will prepare you to eventually work as an Allround Maintenance Technician  in a 4-shift system.
• You will track down faults and provide maintenance to machines, installations and buildings.
• You will work with various technical systems, such as electrical installations, control technology, mechanics, hydraulics and air technology.
• You will develop into an independent problem solver who makes decisions quickly and efficiently.
• Together with your team, under the leadership of the Work Planner or Team Leader, you will ensure that everything continues to run smoothly.
• You will think about improvements and help implement them to make the machines and processes even more efficient.
• As you gain more experience, you will grow in your role and you will be given more and more responsibilities and challenging tasks.

Our client is a fully automated dairy company with a team of approximately 125 employees. Since 2009, the factory has been part of the dairy cooperative DeltaMilk, to which 190 dedicated dairy farmers supply their milk. The farmers, who are also co-owners of the cheese factory, supply milk of the highest quality. This forms the basis for the cheeses, which are valued worldwide for their top quality. With a production capacity of approximately 45,000 tons of Dutch cheese per year, this factory is one of the most advanced in Europe. In addition, their cheese is recognized as one of the best in the Netherlands.

As an Allround Maintenance Technician, you have a versatile and responsible role. You work within the technical department, a team consisting of a maintenance manager, a maintenance engineer, a work planner, three day shift mechanics, a control expert and five allround Maintenance Technician. In addition, you are part of a team consisting of a team leader, an all-round process operator and three process operators. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to the continuity of the cheese factory, so that production continues without interruptions.

• Close to home: You live a maximum of 40 minutes from Bleskensgraaf, so that you can quickly be on site in case of a malfunction.
