Mechanical Technician

Are you handy with a passion for machines and would you like to work in an environment that smells like fresh cookies? We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Technician for a large, modern bakery in Spakenburg. In this role, you will make sure the machines keep running smoothly so that thousands of treats roll out of the oven every day. You will work in a friendly team where you can learn a lot and grow your skills.

• A salary between €14.71 and €24.42 per hour.

• An allowance on top of your salary for on-call shifts.

• A temporary contract with the goal of providing a permanent position.

• You check the machines and perform maintenance to prevent them from stopping.

• You fix technical problems quickly, for example, if a sensor fails or a part needs replacing.

• You think of ways to make the machines work even better.

• You coordinate the planning with your colleagues in production.

• You work during day shifts and take part in the on-call service once every three weeks.

• You occasionally work on a Saturday, alternating with your colleagues.

You will work at a large, industrial bakery in Spakenburg. It is a family business where people work hard but also share a lot of laughs. They produce snacks and cookies that you can find in almost every supermarket in the Netherlands. The company is growing fast and invests a lot in the newest techniques and machines.

• Education and/or experience in technology, such as electrical engineering or mechatronics.

• You enjoy learning how to work with new systems.

• You can work independently and stay calm when something needs to be repaired.

• You have your own way to travel to the location in Spakenburg.

• You speak Dutch and/or English (B1 level).
