Heroyam, located at Sassenstraat 54 (8011 PB) in Zwolle, attaches great importance to your privacy. The following privacy statement explains how Heroyam handles your (privacy) information. This statement applies to all users and customers of the website and services of Heroyam.
Heroyam’s business goal is to make the job placement process successful. In this process Heroyam cannot avoid storing and/or processing certain personal data (of candidates).
The statutory provisions, such as the GDPR are observed by us at all times and the processing is always carried out with care. All data received from a (potential) employee will be treated confidentially and will only be used and processed for the purpose intended. Data is never kept longer than is legally permitted.
The GDPR (article 4) contains the definition of personal data: all information about an identified or identifiable natural person. In other words, this is information that is directly about someone, or information that can be traced back to a specific person. Furthermore, the GDPR includes special personal data (information relating to race, religion, etc.) that deserve extra protection.
When do we collect personale data?
The collection of personal data is, as stated, part of our (employment) services. We collect your personal data in the following situations:
- When you fill in the contact form on the website.
In this case, we ask for your name and your e-mail address so that we can contact you in response to the message. By leaving the data you give us permission to process the data.
- When you send us an e-mail
When you send us an e-mail, we receive from you at least your e-mail address and most likely your first and last name. By sending us the e-mail, you give us permission to process these data.
In case a and b, you have the possibility to send a free message. This means that you can send more personal data than we need. We therefore urge you to be cautious in sharing (additional) personal data.
- When you respond to a vacancy via our website.
If you respond to a vacancy, we request the following information:
- First and last name;
- E-mail address;
- Telephone number;
- CV (education/work experience).
These data will be used to see whether you or your profile matches the vacancy in question. We only need the personal data mentioned.
- Registering on our website.
If you are looking for a job, you can register on our website. In doing so, the following data will be requested:
- First and last name;
- E-mail address;
- Telephone number;
- Preferred function or branch;
- Current location (city/town);
- CV (in particular: education/work experience).
The purpose of a registration is to match your wishes with (possible) vacancies. The above data is sufficient to do this. Again, we advise you not to provide more data than the above.
When you start working with us
When you start working for us, we collect the following personal data:
- ID card;
- Place of birth;
- Social security number;
- Bank account number;
- Marital status.
As an employer, we need this information in order to comply with our legal obligations.
How long do we keep data?
We keep your data carefully at all times and never longer than the legal retention period. If there is no statutory retention period, we will not retain data any longer than necessary.
Personal we never need
We do not need a number of personal details in order to mediate for you. We therefore advise you never to send these data (and therefore not to include them in a CV). This concerns the following data: religion, philosophy of life, race, ethnic origin, criminal data, political persuasion, data concerning sexuality and/or health.
Visiting our website(s)
What data do we share with other parties?
If you have given us permission to act as an employment intermediary, we will share your personal data with potential clients. Naturally, we only share data that is necessary for the client to assess whether you are a suitable candidate. In general, the following data are shared: name, place of residence, gender, date of birth (if relevant to the position), education and courses and any work experience.
If, as an employee, you do not have Dutch nationality or the nationality of an EU or EER country, we are obliged to provide the client with a copy of your valid residence permit and/or work permit and/or proof of identity.
Data protection by Heroyam
We always endeavour to take appropriate measures to protect your personal data. Employees of Heroyam will only get access to the data if this is necessary for their work. Data that is not necessary will never be shared with employees.
Yet despite all the measures, it may happen that others unlawfully access your personal data. This is called a data leak. If this occurs, we urge you to make a report via email@example.com. This allows us to take immediate action.
What rights do you have?
You can exercise the following rights by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Right to modify and delete
You have the right to have personal data changed or deleted if the data is no longer correct. This is also possible if the processing is no longer justified. Please note that there are legal exceptions.
- Right to restriction
In certain cases, you can ask us to temporarily stop processing data. This is possible, for example, if you have submitted a change of data.
- Right to information and inspection
You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you. You can ask us for an overview of this personal data.
- Right to object
You can always object to a certain processing of your personal data, for example if you have not given your consent.
