Line Operator Herbs & Spices

At Heroyam, we are looking for Line Operators Herbs & Spices for our partner in Rotterdam! You will ensure that herbs and spices are perfectly blended, milled, and packaged. You will operate modern, complex production lines for both well-known supermarket brands and professional clients. You maintain a clear overview, monitor quality, and make adjustments where necessary. A challenging role in a 3-shift rotation, where quality and flavor come together.

• You will receive an excellent salary, starting at €20.76 per hour including shift allowance.

As a Line Operator, you are the key player at your machine or production line. You start the day with a thorough technical check, accurately set up the equipment for the next batch of herbs and spices, and monitor the entire process during production. With your keen eye, you ensure that every product meets the strict quality requirements. If something doesn't go according to plan, you intervene immediately.

Because you work with various types of machines and packaging, technical insight and maintaining a clear overview are essential. You quickly and independently resolve minor malfunctions.

Your tasks:

• You perform the necessary checks and safely start up the machines.

• You convert and accurately adjust the machines during product or packaging changeovers.

• You continuously monitor the quality, weight, seal, and overall product safety.

• You accurately record all production data and quality checks in the system.

• You immediately flag deviations and independently resolve minor technical malfunctions.

• You keep your machine and workspace clean and tidy at all times.

• You actively contribute ideas on how to make processes even more efficient or safe.

• You have an MBO work and thinking level.

• You have demonstrable experience as an operator in a production or packaging environment (experience in the food industry is a big plus).

• You have a heart for technology and a natural interest in how machines work.

• You are computer literate, and experience with registration systems is a plus.

• You speak and understand English or Dutch at a B1 level.

• You live in the Rotterdam area.
