As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for making sure that the order process for the customers operates smoothly. You will start the day with a meeting in the team where you will be discussing the planning for the day. Every day you will be working on different things, like working on small updates and bug fixes to implementing new features. You are the one who makes sure everything operates efficiently. You will be working with systems like Symphony and PHP, and you will be working together with the rest of the Development team. This doesn't scare you, but motivates you to work hard. No day will be the same here, and that's what makes this function challenging and interesting. 

Our client is an online platform located in the center of Zwolle. They're known for giving their users the opportunity to make personalized cards for different kinds of events, like birthdays, holidays, marriages and more. The company offers a wide range of card templates and designs, so customers can add their own messages to make the cards unique and personal. The development team consists of 3 teams with 20 developers each. Together, they are responsible for making sure the website is up and running.

• You hold a completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in a STEM field.
• You possess experience in PHP, if not, you're eager to develop this.
• You're familiar with various frameworks, such as Symphony, and willing to learn new ones.
• You're open to exploring and applying JavaScript in various capacities and committed to enhancing these skills.
• You understand the relationship between development and operations, with an affinity for continuous integration, delivery, and deployments.
• You have proficient communication skills in Dutch and/or English (B1 level).
