Senior Sitecore Developer

For our client, we are looking for a skilled Sitecore Developer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role the migration project, working collaboratively to transition digital platform to Cloud. Your expertise in Sitecore, coupled with your .NET and Azure proficiency, will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and successful migration. This is a 6 to 10-month engagement with potential for extension, and you will have the opportunity to work remotely, providing flexibility while contributing to a challenging and rewarding project.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for migrating from Sitecore to XM Sitecore Cloud;

• Utilize your deep knowledge of Sitecore to assess the existing architecture and recommend best practices for the migration process;

• Leverage your .NET and Azure experience to integrate and optimize the new platform, ensuring seamless functionality and performance;

• Work closely with team members to troubleshoot issues, perform testing, and address any technical challenges that arise during the migration;

• Contribute to the documentation of the migration process, providing clear and concise guidelines for future maintenance and enhancements;

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Sitecore Developer;

• Strong background in .NET development, with a solid understanding of C#;

• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based environments;

• Strong knowledges of Sitecore, Helix principles, custom pipelines, Unicorn and Glass Mapper;

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions;

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal (B1 and higher);

• Proven experience working in project-based environments, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results;

• An aptitude for collaboration and teamwork, thriving in cross-functional settings;

• You are open to learning new techniques.
  
  

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET, HTML / CSS, SQL Server, Angular, React, Vue, MVC and Git;

• Knowledge of and experience with Umbraco, Optimizely (formerly Episerver), Ucommerce.
