For our client in Deventer we are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician. In this role you will ensure, together with your colleagues from the Technical Service, that the machinery continues to run. No day is the same, you will work with modern machines, solve malfunctions, think about improvements and perform maintenance.

What we offer

  • A gross monthly salary between €2,700 and €3,500 (based on 36 hours per week), depending on experience.
  • 13.5% shift allowance for 2-shift work.

What are your tasks?

As a maintenance engineer, you are the technical linchpin in the production process. Your work is varied and challenging:

  • Tracking down and solving faults (mechanical and electrical).
  • Performing preventive maintenance on machines, installations and the building.
  • Contributing to technical improvements and implementing them.
  • Working with hydraulics, pneumatics and (possibly) PLC systems.
  • Working with colleagues from production and technical services to solve faults quickly and effectively.

Company description

Our client is a company specializing in the production of plastic materials. This production is carried out through rotational sintering, a process in which metal molds containing the required material are heated, resulting in high-quality plastic forms. The organization has been active since 1960 and continues to excel in quality and consistency to this day.

What we ask

  • You have completed a vocational education (level 3 or 4) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
  • You have experience with or interest in hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC technology (or the ambition to learn this).
  • You like to work in a production environment and enjoy solving malfunctions.
  • You are a team player, accurate and have a practical attitude.
  • You speak good English (minimum B1), so that you understand all work instructions well. Do you also speak Dutch? Then that is a bonus.
  • You are available for a 2-shift system.
