Maintenance technician

As a Maintenance technician, you and your team are responsible for the maintenance and repair of machines and installations in the warehouse. You work in two shifts: from 06:00 to 14:15 or from 14:15 to 22:30. Your tasks include:

• Solving malfunctions in machines, internal transport equipment and automatic systems.
• Performing maintenance on machines and installations.
• Contributing to technical improvements.
• Assisting in the installation and testing of new installations.
• Weekly checking of fire and sprinkler systems.

You will be working at a large family business with a warm atmosphere. The company started in Amsterdam, but is now active in several countries. Collaboration, equality and continuous improvement are central. You will work in a team with 20 technical colleagues who all have their own specialization, such as electrical engineering or mechatronics. The work is partly carried out within an automated warehouse environment, in which the latest technical techniques are present.

• You have experience or education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive technology, or a similar field.
• You’ve worked with the maintenance of machines or transport equipment.
• You can detect and fix technical issues independently.
• You speak Dutch or English at a B1 level or higher.
• You're a responsible team player who enjoys working with others.
• You're not afraid of heights – sometimes you'll work at higher levels.
• You have a VCA certificate, or you're willing to get one.
• You have (or are willing to get) certificates for working at heights, operating a boom lift, and driving a forklift or reach truck.
• You're open to working in shifts.
