Introduction

As a Technical Allround Mechanic, you love challenges and have a keen eye for detail. You are someone who likes to get the job done. You will find and fix technical problems, perform planned and preventive maintenance, and make adjustments to the various machines in the production. You will be responsible for making sure that machines and equipment are always working well. There is plenty of room for your own ideas and further development.

What are your tasks?

  • Work with a team of 8 technicians.

  • Fix technical problems with machines and equipment.

  • Perform planned and preventive maintenance.

  • Analyze the causes of breakdowns and make necessary changes or take action.

  • Help improve technology and processes.

  • Communicate with external companies for technical work.

  • Make sure there are enough materials and tools for planned and unplanned maintenance.

  • Use your technical skills in a dynamic role where you can be creative and find new solutions.

  • You will work during the day with a good schedule. From Monday to Thursday, you work 8 hours and 15 minutes, and on Friday, about 6 hours, so you can enjoy a long weekend. You should be willing to work in 2 shifts or different schedules if needed.

Our client is based in Dronten and is part of a larger Swiss group and specializes in high-quality metal and plastic packaging. The facility primarily produces tin packaging for sectors like baby formula, tobacco, and cosmetics, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, such as using 100% recycled steel. The company also offers innovative solutions that combine metal and plastic packaging materials.

What we ask

  • A completed MBO education, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, 

  • Technical experience 

  • You’re comfortable speaking either Dutch or English at a B1 level or higher.
